This 18th century hospital building is being renovated & converted into a mixed use development of flats, shops and a cultural centre by the architect Jean Michel Wilmotte. Landscape architects Neveux Rouyer were asked to design the public gardens & two pedestrian/cycle avenues on either side of the listed building. Inspired by the historic nature of the site, French-style gardens with parterres, rows of pleached limes and espaliered fruit hedges were proposed. At Neveux Rouyer, Lynda was responsible for the initial design phase and project management.
